Student Legal Clinics

Social Justice Project

The Social Justice Project aims to build our understanding of how to address the social conditions that give rise to hardship and conflict with the law at a broader social level and develop strategies and ways of working that are likely to have the greatest impact on individuals, groups and communities across our region.

A partnership between Whittlesea Community Connections and La Trobe University, the Social Justice Project has two main goals. First, to deliver quality legal service to the residents of the city of Whittlesea. The service covers advice or casework in civil actions, family (including family violence) and wills. Second, to train students in providing legal service in a community setting.
