Social Justice Project
The Social Justice Project aims to build our understanding of how to address the social conditions that give rise to hardship and conflict with the law at a broader social level and develop strategies and ways of working that are likely to have the greatest impact on individuals, groups and communities across our region.
A partnership between Whittlesea Community Connections and La Trobe University, the Social Justice Project has two main goals:
1- Deliver quality legal services to the residents of the City of Whittlesea and its surrounds.
2. Train law students from La Trobe University in providing legal services in a community setting through student legal clinics.
