Classes, Programs & Events
Joining classes, programs and events at Mernda Community House is a great way to meet people while also getting something of value for yourself.
Mernda Neighbourhood House delivers neighbourhood house programs that aim to bring people together to connect, learn and be part of their local community.
Programs and activities at Mernda Neighbourhood House are delivered with and for local community members who are working together to achieve our community’s vision. Current programs include arts and crafts, health and wellbeing, gardening, English classes, and community events. These will continue to grow and change alongside our community.
Some of our signature programs include Mernda Repair Café, Mernda Community Lunch, Mernda Community Gardeners and Women’s* Shed.
At Mernda Neighbourhood House, you can learn new skills, gain new knowledge, volunteer, get involved in projects and events, and much more – all while meeting others in your neighbourhood. We welcome ideas for new programs and events, and we love supporting people who have a passion that needs a place and space to grow.
Mernda Neighbourhood House is currently staffed Wednesday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. Drop in and find out what is happening at your Neighbourhood House, or take a look at our classes and activities below and see how you can be involved. They’d love to meet you!
