Whittlesea Community Connections (WCC) started in 1973 as a small volunteer-run organisation operating from a solicitor’s office upstairs in Lalor. Since then, the organisation has grown to employ over 55 staff and 300 volunteers who work together to address the needs of individuals and groups facing disadvantage, isolation and obstacles to effective social and economic participation. WCC values their staff who are offered above award salaries and flexible working arrangements in a supportive work environment.

Youth Worker – Play Your Way Program

We are currently seeking a passionate Youth Worker to support the delivery of the Play Your Way Program, helping young women from diverse cultural backgrounds build confidence, connection and wellbeing through sport and recreation.

Epping location
Open to part-time or full-time applicants (0.8–1.0 FTE)
Fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027

This role works closely with schools, community partners and local sporting clubs to create inclusive opportunities and pathways for young women across the City of Whittlesea.
