Whittlesea Community Connections (WCC) started in 1973 as a small volunteer-run organisation operating from a solicitor’s office upstairs in Lalor. Since then, the organisation has grown to employ over 55 staff and 300 volunteers who work together to address the needs of individuals and groups facing disadvantage, isolation and obstacles to effective social and economic participation. Senior Lawyer
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Family Law / Family Violence Lawyer to join our collaborative team at Whittlesea Community Legal Service.
In this role, you’ll provide specialist legal advice and representation, mentor junior lawyers, and help strengthen our Health Justice Partnerships. You’ll also contribute to community legal education, advocacy and outreach, making a meaningful difference for people experiencing family law issues and family violence in Melbourne’s north.
