Community members recently visited Wollert Community Farm as part of a series of workshops delivered in partnership with the Merri Creek Management Committee. The workshops invited people to walk on Wurundjeri Country and learn more about the newly established marram baba Merri Creek Regional Parklands.
The visit coincided with just over one year since the farm was established at its new Wollert site, in partnership with Yarra Valley Water. It was a great opportunity to share how far the farm has come, showcase some of the work achieved over the past year, and invite the community to help shape what comes next.
We were pleased to welcome local residents, volunteers who have supported the farm both recently and over many years, as well as people from further afield who have followed the project’s journey over time.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to continuing to grow the farm alongside our community.
