Registrations are now open for Term 4 of Food Collective’s free Hospitality Training and Employment Program, supporting people from migrant and refugee backgrounds to gain practical experience, build confidence and develop the skills needed to find work in hospitality.
Running over 10 weeks, the program combines hands-on experience in Food Collective’s busy café and catering kitchen with tailored training from qualified chefs and baristas.
Participants will develop practical skills in food and coffee preparation and service, while gaining valuable experience in a real hospitality workplace.
The program also includes individual support from an employment mentor to help participants develop work-ready skills and prepare for employment.

- Are eligible for employment in Australia
- Have a minimum of EAL Level 2 English
