Whittlesea Community Connections (WCC) started in 1973 as a small volunteer-run organisation operating from a solicitors office upstairs in Lalor. Since then the organisation has grown to employ over 55 staff and 300 volunteers who work together to address the needs of individuals and groups facing disadvantage, isolation and obstacles to effective social and economic participation. WCC values their staff who are offered above award salaries and flexible working arrangements in a supportive work environment.

Current Vacancies

We are looking for a Communications Manager who will help WCC communicate its impact, priorities and initiatives to key stakeholders and broad audiences. The role is responsible for managing digital and social platforms, media relations and publications and for ensuring the organisation is a strong and trusted voice in the community.
