Established in 2019, the Food Collective aims to create a more equitable food system in the City of Whittlesea.
We do this through a range of social enterprises and free programs and services that strengthen community connections, improve health and wellbeing, increase training and employment opportunities in the hospitality industry, and support households with food relief.
Our long term goals:
- Connected and Healthy Local Community
- Equitable and Sustainable Local Economy
- Sustainable and Circular Local Food Systems
- Resilient and Thriving Local Ecosystems
