Essential Employment and Training Program

The Essential Employment and Training program helps community members from refugee backgrounds looking for personal development, employment and training opportunities. It works towards creating equal access to vocational, lifestyle and employment opportunities.

Our experienced support staff assist people with a range of activities to help them achieve their personal goals and aspirations. Examples include social and recreational community activities, adult education (formal and informal learning), hobbies and leisure activities, health and well-being activities, and support to connect with social networks.

Our dedicated staff also assist young people develop the skills and knowledge needed to transition to employment. Our staff will work with individuals to develop an Individual Plan tailored to their specific needs and vocational goals, focusing on employability skills and career pathways. Each participant is provided a certificate after the successful completion of the course.
