What are Jobs Victoria Employment and Mentoring Services?
WCC’s Specialist Employment Service is available to Victorian residents living in Whittlesea and surrounding suburbs who have been unemployed for more than 6 months or face employment barriers. The service supports people from migrant, refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds to find employment. The program works intensely with both Jobseekers and Employers. Jobseekers get one on one assistance to create an Employment pathway, which includes help navigating the Australian work culture, interview skills and connections with employment opportunities. The main focus is on developing new skills and building confidence to attain sustainable employment.
