Whittlesea Volunteer Resource Service
The Volunteer Resource Service provides face to face assistance for people in the Whittlesea community wishing to volunteer. Our helpful staff will endeavour to find volunteer positions matched to people's interests and skills.
The service also provides free training for volunteers in a range of interest areas, see our latest training calendar for more information.
Specific assistance through our Mentor Program is provided to newly arrived migrants and refugees wishing to use volunteering as a pathway to employment.
In response to the Black Saturday bushfires, WCC has also appointed two coordinators of volunteers to work with bushfire-affected communities. For an update on bushfire response activities see our Project Page.
