ART Connect 111

ART Connect 111 is a community arts space located at Whittlesea Community Connections, shop 111, Epping Plaza. Art Connect 111 aims to provide an accessible exhibition space for local artists to exhibit their artwork in a supportive environment and to build a more cohesive and inclusive community celebrating its strengths through art :

 ART Connect 111:-

• Helps local artists to share their creative and artistic expressions, ideas and skills with the local community
•  Helps local artists to make connections and establish networks with each other and with professional and practicing artists
• Helps artists establish links to the arts sector particularly for new and emerging artists, new arrival communities and other groups who face significant barriers accessing mainstream art communities and venues
•  Asks that those artists who exhibit within the space, become actively involved in their continuing contribution to the arts community in this area
• Gives Priority to provide exhibition opportunities to artists who have not had the opportunity to exhibit their work previously

Current Exhibitions:  The Women of Whittlesea Exhibition of Photographs will be touring Whittlesea at the venues listed below and will culminate with a show at the State Parliament of Victoria in November.click here to view exhibition highlights
