Connect Plus is a social enterprise established by WCC to help our community transport service become self-sustaining. The community transport service assists disadvantaged residents living in the city of Whittlesea to access essential health appointments, welfare services and to stay connected to their community. Last year the service provided transport to over 5000 passengers. To date $10,000 has been raised towards a target of $80,000. Please phone Steve Lewis on 9401 6614 for more information on how you can help.
The City of Whittlesea and Whittlesea Community Connections are holding the Refugee Week Awards 2013 to recognise the important work of refugees in the community. An awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 20th June, 2013.
We invite you to submit an application that nominates a local person of refugee background who has made a significant contribution to the community through their paid or unpaid work.

An electronic version of the nomination form is also available. Please email Kate.
